Booking & Cancellation Policy

1. Course Bookings

All course bookings with Prometheus Biolabs are subject to availability and are confirmed only upon receipt of full payment, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Places are limited to six (6) students per session to ensure safety and quality of instruction.

  • Bookings are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Once a booking is confirmed, the student is enrolled for the selected course date(s).

Prometheus Biolabs reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking if safety requirements cannot be met.
 

2. Payment Terms

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure a place.

  • Prices are shown as the total course fee.

  • VAT will be applied only where legally required.

Failure to complete payment may result in the booking being cancelled without notice.
 

3. Cancellations by the Student

Due to the nature of laboratory training, including advance preparation, consumables, and limited capacity, the following cancellation terms apply:

a. Cancellations made 14 days or more before the course start date

  • Eligible for a full refund or

  • Option to transfer to an alternative course date (subject to availability)

b. Cancellations made 7–13 days before the course start date

  • Eligible for a 50% refund, or

  • One-time transfer to a future course date

c. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the course start date

  • No refund will be issued

  • Transfers are not guaranteed and are at the discretion of Prometheus Biolabs
     

4. Non-Attendance (No-Shows)

  • Failure to attend a booked course without prior notice will be treated as a no-show

  • No refunds or transfers will be offered in this case
     

5. Course Transfers

  • Transfers to alternative dates are subject to availability

  • Only one transfer per booking is permitted

  • Transfers must be requested in writing via email
     

6. Cancellations by Prometheus Biolabs

Prometheus Biolabs reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Instructor illness

  • Equipment failure

  • Safety concerns

  • Insufficient enrolment

In such cases, students will be offered:

  • A full refund, or

  • Transfer to an alternative course date

Prometheus Biolabs is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by students, such as travel or accommodation.

7. Safety & Conduct

  • All participants must comply with laboratory safety rules and instructor guidance.

  • Prometheus Biolabs reserves the right to remove a participant from a course for unsafe or inappropriate behaviour.

  • In such cases, no refund will be provided.
     

8. Changes to This Policy

Prometheus Biolabs reserves the right to update this Booking & Cancellation Policy at any time.
The version in force at the time of booking will apply.
